Redgum “Clutch”

Red Gum (some distinctive fiddle back in the end rails) and Tasmanian Oak. Hyper-unique. Not to every person’s taste, but of intense attraction to some. The legs seem to be clutched from the inside by the Red Gum rails, intensifying their role as “outriggers” or posts rather than more or less hidden conventional table legs. At each head, they might also provide the matriarch or patriarch of the family with a magnificent “lectern” from which to explain domestic or other arrangements. The inlaid top is highly directional, a surge of elements moving not-quite chaotically from one end to the other.
