Entertainment Unit “Cradle”

Air-dried fiddle back Tasmanian Oak and Red Gum. Unusual figure and colour, combining for a kind of alluring visual “texture”. A magnificently loud piece. The design motif is “carriage “ or “cradle”, with the hyper-extended, curved legs holding the cabinet in an embrace. This particular piece provides for a television sitting on top and the housing of audio/video componentry inside, including a turntable. It can be made in a configuration to suit your needs.

Blackwood – Mountain Ash Entertainment

A more tonally subtle version of its Red Gum and Alpine Ash cousin. However, it is still a stand-out piece, as one person said, ‘Too good to put a television on.”

Entertaining Sideboard

This Blackwood cabinet was commissioned to meet the client’s audio-visual needs. It combines traditional motifs with a little bit of contemporary “deco” curviness.

Stand-Out

An entertainment unit in Red Gum and fiddle-back Tasmanian Oak. The raised panels in the doors are very raised indeed, really adding to the visual “texture” of a piece that already has a lot happening by dint of its colouring.

Drinks cabinet

Tasmanian Blackheart Sassafras doors and drawer fronts are a stunning feature of this drinks cabinet. This commission was co-designed with our clients and exemplifies the exciting possibilities of bespoke furniture.

‘Clusters’

Nests of tables in a variety of timbers: Victorian Stringybark, Wormy Chestnut, Blackwood, Vic Ash and Redgum, each with a contrasting stripe. Beautiful and practical.

Distinctive Entertainment Unit

We created this design to suit the aesthetic and functional desires of our client. The line of the Vic Ash legs flows into the cabinet breaking up the ‘squareness’ with the irregularly-shaped doors. A classy piece combining beauty with function.
